From Ibiza to Riccione. Never before have we been able to say that "the dream has become reality": Space Riccione opens its doors. The historic venue from Ibiza, named "The Best Global Club" multiple times in DJ Mag's rankings, resumes its glorious history eight years after the famous closing party of the summer of 2016 in Ibiza. And it does so by choosing the hills of Riccione.
"We are delighted to continue the 27-year history of Space Ibiza here in Riccione, an iconic place that represents entertainment. Love for music and mutual respect, the main characteristics of all our events, will also be protagonists in this new experience, which we all believe in deeply," declared Pepe Rosello, the legendary owner of the Space brand.
The new "Space," designed by architect Lucchi in the area formerly occupied by Musica, is a next-generation club, designed for daytime and nighttime entertainment, spread over 3 large areas (Arena, Woodland, and Terrace) accompanied by private spaces, suitable for hosting major electronic music events and concerts: the motto "club meets festival" reflects well the idea of what this innovative location wants to represent in the Italian panorama. Special attention has been paid to energy compatibility solutions and environmental sustainability choices, not only in the construction of the structure of the spaces but also in the initiatives that are an integral part of the project. In particular, Woodland, one of the three dance floors immersed in nature, will be the center of initiatives related to territorial culture, live music, training, and much more: a physical and digital place of connections and encounters.
This initiative arises from the joint venture among entrepreneurs, including the prominent Cipriani Group, a global leader in entertainment and luxury catering.
Space Riccione represents a great opportunity for international clubbing: not surprisingly, the launch campaign has been focused on the Renaissance, to underline the flood of novelties that this project will bring both to the entertainment sector and to the tourist reception of Riccione and the entire Riviera.
The opening program promises to satisfy all tastes and musical preferences, with an exceptional lineup of DJs and internationally renowned artists ready to make the dance floors vibrate from 2:00 p.m. Among the artists who will perform on the opening night are Carl Cox, Dixon, Andrea Oliva, Anna Tur, and Shimza, offering sets that will captivate the audience and kick off a season full of energy and excitement.
Throughout the season, Space Riccione will continue to host some of the biggest names in the global electronic scene, with scheduled performances by artists such as Luciano, Martin Garrix, Tale Of Us, David Guetta, and many others. Each night promises a unique experience, with an eclectic mix of genres and styles, including concerts by Tony Effe and Sfera Ebbasta in August.
The season's closure is scheduled for August 31st, with a closing party that promises to be epic, bringing together music lovers from around the world for an unforgettable farewell to summer. With its combination of history, innovation, and festive spirit, Space Riccione is destined to become one of the most important clubs internationally.
