Hi Ine at first place, who are you?

I am a curious and dreamy Argentine, stranded in Uruguay a few years ago, eager to always do new things and travel.

Are you a writer, playwright and theatre director, how do you live with these experiences?

Overall I think all experiences merge, nurturing each other... it is impossible to separate the playwright and the director from the writer when writing, because whenever I write in my head the details flow and everything reflected there as if it were a staging, meticulously detailed, where the characters and stories coexist making us feel that we breathe the work or the novel.

Your new novel Roleplay. Tell us a little about the Book. What kind of novel is it?

Roleplay, is an erotic novel, which makes us dream for a while, making us lose ourselves in a fantasy world that allows us to escape this harsh reality that we live in these days.

What does Roleplay mean?

Roleplay, as the English name implies, refers to a role-playing game, which Ninna and Zalo play as excitingly as it is particularly and which despite the passage of time keep interest as the first day, making us want to play with them for a while.

Why did you choose to set it up in Argentina?

The truth that happens in Argentina as could happen in Barcelona, or anywhere, despite the detail of the descriptions that make you feel the belonging could happen in any city where Ninna chooses to live.

Why did you write this book?

Actually this book was written alone, the story was there asking to be told, cutting the cord with the novel in which it was embedded, to be an independent book and not a chapter... I'm going to explain it better because I don't know if you understood right, I was writing a novel about the pandemic for a contest and when I got to chapter 5 I started playing with the idea of a chain of emails between two former lovers who have a role-playing game and when I took distance I realized that it was a complete work and that it was a story to be told alone and not one more chapter of a novel... so I took the chapter away from the novel and started working it as a play that eventually became a novel.

I'm fascinated to understand your creative process, how you thought about the story, and how much it has an autobiographical component?

With regard to the creative prisoner I am not very conventional when it comes to writing... sometimes I wake up having dreamed of an interesting idea, then I work on it and it transforms into a play... sometimes it's like being in a trance where everything flows naturally and I only write for hours, especially when I write dialogues, and when I take distance I'm surprised to have written that... and when I approach a new character I don't know how he can feel his reality because I never experienced anything like it, I research and read to learn about the subject and the environment... the process is always different depending on the project. About the autobiographical component that I can tell you without taking the magic away from Ninna... all writers,

recognize it or not, we are influenced by things in our real life, without that the stories would not be the same.

Have you travelled much in your life?

I have travelled, but not as much as I would have liked... but it's never too late to pack a bag and catch a plane... Italy will soon be.

Do you think it's important to travel?

I love to travel and I think it is a unique experience to be able to discover cities, cultures, people... throughout this year I reflected again and again and always came to the same conclusion, I think I would like to be nomadic for a while, travel wherever I want for as long as I want without getting too complicated for nothing... let everything flow and take the course it should, that's all...

Next project in the art world?

Wow, I always have projects and I change them and modify them all the time... it's not easy to be in my head... but the nearest and most concrete thing, at the moment, I feel like traveling to Europe, Italy and Spain, to do a small reading theatre tour with Roleplay... besides, I'm always writing something new... I'm also working on transforming Roleplay from novel to script, one more of so many projects this year. I am also going to collaborate with Backstage to sell tickets to theatrical performances of my works. I think it is great that a technology company can collaborate with art, sports, culture and music with the new possibilities offered by blockchain and marketing 3.0.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I enjoy many things from cooking, drawing, reading a good book, playing with my dogs and cats, traveling, meeting with my friends, taking some kind of something interesting...

The last question is are you Night or Day?

Absolutely Night... I am very nocturnal; I like to write in the early morning when I have the house just for me... I think the night is magical with a unique charm.
