All the latest news from the high tech fair in Berlin.
IFA, the annual technology fair held every year in Berlin, took place at the beginning of September and presented all the news that are going to be on the market in the coming months.
For the first time the fair presented 8K resolution TVs. The first models were introduced by LG, Sony, Sharp and Samsung. Although there is still no content now, Samsung will start selling 8K models from the end of September, available only in selected markets.
Another very interesting device presented, is the Lenovo Yoga Book C930, a laptop that replaces the keyboard with an E-ink screen. This secondary display can be used as a keyboard, to draw with the stylus or view other contents.
The audio industry also played a big role at the fair, with Sony unveiling a new version of its noise-cancelling headphones, the WH-1000XM3. These headphones have now become lighter and more comfortable, offering four times the power of its previous model.
The fair also saw the presence of several smartphones brands: Sony introduced its latest top of the range, the XZ3, a device with a...
ND Magazine enters a new Era and is presenting its new format in Europe.
After 12 years Night&Day magazine evolves and becomes ND MAG. Not a Guide anymore (for tourists visiting the islands of Ibiza and Formentera) but an International Lifestyle Magazine, which links locations that have synergies with these two islands.
It is no coincidence that the new magazine has been already presented in London, at Club 93 Feet East during the Bamboleo event with Neverdogs and in Ibiza, at IT restaurant (the restaurant of Gennaro Esposito, the Italian multi-starred chef) and Club 107.
On April 19th it will make its debut also in Italy, at Villa de Reali, a beautiful villa in the province of Treviso.
Its contents start from music (in particular electronic music), going through nature (sustainability and ecology, which are also reflected in the use of a new mineral paper resistant to water and environmentally friendly) up to culture (in its broader meaning, including travel, wellness, fashion, gastronomy, etc.).
In the new ND the paper tool becomes a synthesis or re-elaboration of the web contents, which will be li...
Walking Ibiza does it again
The Around The Island Adventure is where it all started back in October 2010 for Walking Ibiza when Toby Clarke (the founder) decided to try and walk around the entire coastline of Ibiza on a whim and with his dog Cosmo. But now the first group will be participating in the Menorca Around The Island Adventure together with Toby.
A new adventure, a new island and completely new views to be enjoyed!
All participants have done an Around The Island walk before, but Menorca is new for all of them. This walk lasts 9 days and will have an overall distance of 205 km’s. The walkers will start Friday the 5th of April and join from all over Europe. Even a Canadian found her way to this beautiful island.
In April 2018 Toby already did some research and walked the island himself to be prepared for the Around The Island Adventure in 2019. He followed the Camí de Cavalls which is an ancient path of 186 km that encircles the island of Menorca. This long-distance walking route is also used to reach some of the most inaccessible beaches of Menorca. Since its original func...
Neverdogs collaborate with ND since its foundation. For that reason we publish the last article released in the September 2018 edition.
When did you start DJing? And, who or what were your early passions and influences that changed your life and careers?
Tommy: Since a very young age, I was attracted to the music world. When I was 14 years
old, I went for the first time to a nightclub. I immediately noticed the DJ in the booth, the
energy, the fact that he was making everyone dancing with a smile on their faces. All the
above surrounded by an amazing atmosphere of lights. So, after I had that experience, I fell in love with the music scenery, and I have decided to start DJing...therefore after few days I went to buy my first vinyls.
Marco: I was born in a family where the music has always been a very important element. My
father and my uncle were DJs in the 80s and they still are today. I grew up in a house full of
vinyls listening to 80s music. In the early 90s, when I was 14 years old, I began to follow my uncle in his gigs in the city where I was born and then I s...
Wild childs get cosmic One thing I have noticed about wild childs who get cosmic, is that there is a sense of realness.
There is floating off into the cosmic vibrations, but we don´t get lost in it.
We are a new generation of creative change makers. We come together, many races, backgrounds and religions; warriors of creative change crafted in unique ways only we can imagine.
With love as our guide, an awareness of the work we need to do, and a deep need for something different inside and out, we rise. Along with the music and the magic of the island of Ibiza, this ‘something different’ is what I want to vibrate at Cosmic Pineapple.
There are going to be inspiring talks, classes, yoga, dances and workshops in the day to activate your mind and invite you to connect with your hearts; each crafted around the intention and focus of the particular event.
There will be healers working with different modalities (massage, tarot, reiki etc.), a Cosmic Bazaar creative market, healthy food and drinks and more. And in the night there will be music to make you dance from some brilliant and visionary music selectors...

Dunes Night Club is a new concept that lands to liven up the nights in Playa d'en Bossa.
Every night we have different DJs who bring with their musical style the spirit of Ibiza, shows, go-go, live music and much more.
The club is in the upper part of the room and was born with the idea of completing the offer we already had, with a new atmosphere and image, a perfect location in Playa d'en Bossa and the best musical selection, a trip through different cultures and times, shown with the parties we have during the week and that we introduce you here:
Hello Jan, so we meet again here now on Ibiza after having had the pleasure of working together in 2014 with a very awesome single (Time Again). How has your life changed from 2014 until now?
It has not changed much, it's just getting more stressful, but I was aware of that, I don’t want to complain. It has changed so far that I've tried to make even more awesome music. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.
You succeed very well, it was a very nice gig here at WooMoon on Ibiza, where this year you are part of the lineup. I have seen you at the opening too...
Hi Christian, what does Ibiza mean to you?
Ibiza has always been my 'Neverland', where, just as Peter Pan did, I could fly, but not in the sense that someone might immediately think. Basically, in Ibiza I have always felt 'lighter', more free, especially from that pressing and, why not, oppressive everyday life in a city like mine, in Italy.
Are you from Genoa? Do you love your city?
I was born in Genoa and I have always lived there, but my origins are Sicilian by father and Neapolitan by mother. Genoa is a beautiful city, to love, but a...
Where are you from?
From Naples but I’ve been based in Amsterdam for a few years now.
When and how did your music career start? Who were your mentors?
I started DJing when I was 11 years old, I was playing around my hometown Caserta in bars together with my good friend Joseph Capriati. Then when I was 14 years old I had my proper first gig. One of my mentors was Rino Cerrone, he was the one that believed in my music since the first day.
Please tell us about your residency at Pyramid, in Amnesia Ibiza this summer.

Where are you from?
Italy, I come from Liguria.
What do you do?
I am an artist with his own style; I love art in every representation. I use art as a means of communication. Currently I am PR at The Ryder Ibiza, a biker style restaurant in Playa d'en Bossa.
Who or what inspires you at work?
Inspiration comes from the desire to offer my point of view to my audience.

Hello worldwide people of the night and day.
Before presenting this month's artist, Tirry Tiriticco, an eclectic character who has got to know the island pretty well, I would like to draw your attention to music, the engine of our lives, one of the languages, in my opinion, among the most powerful on earth. It has the magical power to get us to know each other, to unite us, make us dance, vent, enjoy, express our cultures that come together in a new sound, which day after day becomes more and more complete and global.
July, the third month of the Ibizan season and my ...
Saturday 28th July is UNITE With Tomorrowland’s big day: United Arab Emirates, Italy, Lebanon, Malta, Mexico, Spain and Taiwan connect with Belgium (home of the main Tomorrowland) with their extraordinary lineups and a live satellite connection with Boom.

From a technical point of vi...
At the beginning of June, Ibiza’s legendary nightclub, Amnesia, launched their new Monday night Pyramid project (running from 4th June – 24th September) and has been a huge success since day one. The 17-week event series curated by Amnesia in collaboration with Keep On Dancing and Game Over, sees some of the biggest names in dance music and the coolest up-and-coming artists performing every week. The main attraction of every party is of course the music; and at Pyramid this could not be less. Huge names such as Ricardo Villalobos, Carl Cox, Ben Klock, Maceo Plex and Eats Everything ...
Where are you from?
Nowadays London. Before that a tiny village of 50 people in the South West of England.
Please tell us when you approached the music scene and how has been your artistic evolution since then?
I first stepped behind the decks in 1983. I went from mobile DJ playing at weddings and birthdays, to local club DJ, to traveling around the region playing in clubs. Then I got a full time DJ career in Hong Kong playing seven hours a night in a bar, to helping start the Hong Kong club scene, to starting the full moon parties on the beach in Thaila...
In just over a year, record label Strakton Records has made great strides.
Created by DJ and producer Federico Kay, Strakton Records has produced over 100 tracks in twelve months, involving over 40 international artists and achieving several placings in the charts in the streams and visualisations of the markets all over the world, with a wide range of genres that characterise and distinguish electronic music. A path that is just beginning, but that is undoubtedly well structured and outlined.
This explains, for example, its arrival this summer in Ibiza: its partnership with Ale...
HEART IBIZA, the laboratory of experiences created by brothers Albert and Ferran Adrià together with Cirque du Soleil's creator Guy Laliberté, offers us a season and a programme for the club that lives up to what is expected from this experience.
Every day of the week, the creativity of all its parties, along with the originality of their performances, generates a transgressive environment in which to get lost and discover a new way of enjoying the Ibiza night.
Every Monday in July and August, the spirit of Benirràs, ...
How and when did your passion for cooking start? Paradoxically, it started for survival reasons. My parents didn't cook and I started to make do with what I had. It slowly became a great passion. Generally, I am passionate about things done well. What has been your career path since then? I completed my hotel and catering studies, which honestly only helped me teach at the Vespucci and Olivetti hotel and catering school, respectively in Milan and Monza. I learned almost everything working and teaching. As you seriously prepare your lessons, you learn a lot more than as a student: you have...
Ibiza has many magical locations and those who explore a little bit more outside the usual beaches and tourist locations can be rewarded with a really stunning island which will surprise even the regular visitor who maybe thinks they have seen all the island. One such way to be surprised and wowed is to take to the sea and get a whole new perspective to the island, there is also something wonderful about floating on the sea in your own kayak under your own arm power and seeing the crystal clear water, learning about the posidonia seagrass which keeps the sea so clean and exploring caves a...
